Put a SpeedCircuit FS engine and a SpeedCircuit turbo kit on your Protege and you'll have more reliable power than you can use on the street.

Jumping through hoops to get a different motor in there just isn't worth the aggravation, unless of course you're attempting to make it awd/rwd.

Hey while we're at it we should throw in a v8 conversion! In all honesty I would just spend the money to build a fsde motor with the other various upgrades. If your that set on a conversion for a different motor then you should probably just buy the car that it was designed for.

I appreciate creativity and being different but in this case it would be more cost effective to build and turbo an fsde than have to buy a kit or fabricate it to make it all work, buy a completley different motor, tranny, axles, computer, plus all the go fast stuff on top of that. Then having to rewire everything....sounds like a pain in the ass and a lot of money wasted.

Thanks for proving my theory on being Biased. You're telling me that a 2.0 liter engine with basic bolt ons and engine management can make 220whp is weak? Have you seen what's under your hood? A 2.0 engine producing 100-110whp.
