MP3
Hey guys im new to psoting on this forum but i have read it occasionally. As far as i know, there is only one other mp3 in alabama other than mine which is in huntsville owned by a woman at the mazda dealership. Well anyway, there is a new exhaust system coming out that i thought id let you p5 owners know about. Its non other than the GReddy Evo. go to a magazine store and pick up import racer and turn over to the back cover. it says "coming soon ........ Protege"
im really excited about that. my question is, will it fit a Mp3???
what do you guys think?

if it is made for the pro5, then no, it will nto fit the mp3. the protege sedan and wagon are different lengths after the rear bumper. if you bought that exhaust, it would be about 5 inches short of the rear bumper edge. conversely, if you were to install a sedan exhaust on a pro5, it would hang out beyond the rear bumper by about 5 inches.

I got my yellow MP3 from Auburn, but I have since then moved to Dallas. There is a girl near Auburn that has a blue MP3 and when I bought mine there was also one in Montgomery, and there is a guy in Mobile with a blue one. But I think I was the only yellow one in the state.

Thanks!
well does anyone know of any Japanese performance companies making a cat back for a protege that isnt for a p5?
(HKS, GReddy, Apex'i, etc etc.)

Do you know if the bends on the pipe are the same? if so, could you not have a muffler shop cut out enough piping to make it fit or is there just no feasible way for it to fit.

its good to know there are more mp3 owners around me haha
i know that there is a guy in chattanooga that owns a yellow mp3 with a few mods.
i had the choice of a blue or a yellow mp3 but i have a yellow honda civic and i didnt want 2 yellow cars. the dealer tried to tell me that there were fewer yellow ones but i told him i didnt care i liked the blue (bluemp3)

There were suposed to be 500 yellow, but they stoped at 320. Something about the yellow paint took so many coats to cover up the primer coat. That's also why there aren't so many yellow Pro5's.
