Just enquiring if 265/40/20 or 275/40/20 fit on 2016 cx-5. I have now fitted 255/45/20 on mine, but I see that the rear of he 2016 will look much better with a wider tyre.
My rim I have now is a 8.5j et45 fitted with 255/45/20 tyres. Just wondering if anyone actually fitted any of those 2 tyre sizes on 2016 and how it looked and drove on the road.
I think the biggest question is if a 265 or 275 tyre can fit on a 8.5j rim, secondly will there be any rub on the inside or outside and lastly how the ride quality will be and fuel consumption.
I’m happy with my current setup, but curious about going wider.
