Here's a couple pictures of this on my Titanium (sorry, not yellow). Yeah, that thread around mid summer is where I got the idea for this. Seems to suprise every Protege guy that sees my car though.

Yeah, pretty cool, huh?

Believe it or not... I just did it on a hot day during the summer. It wears your fingers down pretty good. I usually use a hair dryer for that sort of thing though.

Also you can use Goof Off Citrus Cleaner (MUST BE CITRUS!) to remove the glue that doesnt come off with the vinyl. I just bought a big bottle of it for like $6.

Raw fingers and two hours later.... But SUCH a difference! Especially for being free! (cool)

Where can i get the match Blazing Yellow spray can, I have my eyelid iwth MP5 yellow, look fugly.

Wait until you collect enough parts to make a body shop trip worth it.

That's what I'm doing, slowing building a pile of parts to paint. :)

I dont have new pics yet... saving up as a surprise for HIN next month. But I have a painted VIS CF hood, erebuni eyelids, FMIC supposed to get here this week (hopefully) and haven't finished taking off my tape around my doors yet. I did ONE and it took SEVERAL hours. My car was a b****. My fingers kill me and my nails are completely done for. Not that you guys care about nails, but damn. People are going to start to thinking that I'm a butch or something. Dirty hands, oily jeans, broken nails, cuts on hands..... I need a break from modding. This is going to be the death of me. lol

i think im going to take off the black tape around the windows, take off the froint spoiler, put on fog lights, and get some of those hyper white bulbs from street unit. my spoiler is already off. i think that'll pretty much do it for exterior mods for me.

I had hyper white bulbs ... one would burn out every few months. Not worth the $20 I spent on each one. Sucked ass. Next time I'm going for the real deal, HID's.

And as soon as I'm done with all the windows, I'll post up pics. I've only got one done and I'm not looking forward to doing the rest right about now. lol But so far the paint looks great. Just need some goo be gone and I'll be set.

Got one more door done yesterday. Yay for me. More broken skin and a blister on my thumb. Only two more doors to go... this is pathetic. lol My car must hate me. It gives me the hardest time just doing some of the simplest things to it. I'm always coming away with cuts, scrapes, blood loss, broken nails to the quick and everything else. I think my car is possessed. Nuts dont want to come off or get stripped, bolts.... forget about it without power tools, tires even... you need a damn mallet to get em off, ......the list goes on.

I warned everyone! :P

Yeah ya did. lol One of my friends with the sunlight silver did his and I was like WOW, thats hot s*** man! So of course, I try it out... and I'm yelling at my car because it keeps wanting my blood and then it looks trashed because I can only do one door at a damn time.

SO PEOPLE... if you're thinking about doing this....use LOTS AND LOTS of nail hardener, wack your fingers into a board a few times like the Shaolin monks do to harden up their fingers and hands, and have a first aid kit nearby. I would not attempt this if your work involves typing 65 wpm or sewing at your job. Because you will be hating life behind that keyboard or needle and wish you took up soccer or something else involving mostly legs instead.

It sucks when you have to be careful what you do because of typing at your job. Our requirement is 80wpm here. :D

I'm also pretty sure myself, or most people here are not going to apply 'nail hardener' before working on their car. (yupnope)

Hey, u never know... there could be some "Metrosexual" men around here. I've seen some guys that iron underwear, clear coat their nails and toes, apply foot and hand creme, get facial scrubs, waxed eyebrows, etc. So it could happen... although I dont listen to my own advice and havent put hardener on my OWN nails. Then again, I can be more male than some. lol
