Calling all titaniums

The install was .. a bit situation-specific, heh. In other words, I encountered problems that a lot of other people most likely will not. But overall, the design of the kit is very smooth -- as long as you follow the instructions that 505zoom outlined, it's straightforward and relatively simple.

I'll have more pics of everything -- exterior, the engine bay -- this coming weekend. :)

What offset are your rims? Do you rub? I like the polished lip alot!

Just took these today: (after a long GHL turbo-back install)
Stock springs in the rear, Tein in the front:

My rims are a +45 offset -- and that's with an 18" x 7.5" wheel. I have the car lowered on Tein S-Tech's, and I don't get any rub at all. I've even had my car loaded up moving back home from college for the summer, and still nothing.

I wish I'd left the stock springs on in the back, though .. In all honesty, I think the S-Tech's actually LIFTED the back end up a bit.

S'all good, tho'. I plan on pickin' up a set of GC's sooner or later!

here is some shots of my new ti MSP. I just picked it up this weekend and I love it. I got it with only 13360 miles and it already has a FMIC, Injen CAI, Apex TT, Blitz BOV, TBE, coilovers, boost and pyro gauges.

$14,750 out the door price. I feel like I got a steal considering the mods are worth $3-3.5k.

I got it from a subie dealer in Houston. The previous owner traded it for an STI.

The dealer mentioned that the guy was a regular at the Houston hangouts and hung with another guy that had a spicy orange and they were known locally as the speed twins. anybody know him?

wow, thats cool the dealer sold it with those mods? You can try to look up your production # by calling mazda. Maybe the old owner registered it here. http://www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19888&highlight=03.5+production

holy shizzle!!! I almost bought that car! No the dealer was full of s***. the car came from 10-I-sea from what i could tell. i was on the vurge of buying that msp when i came across another user sellin his msp for less with less miles plus it was blue!!! there is a msp that looks VERY close to that one here in houston, but he's no "speed twin". another reason i passed up on that msp is because citizenpro thinks it was in a wreck. check the paintlines in the back doorjams. they're inconsistant. somone repainted that part of the car at one point. but otherwise that was an awesome msp! congrats on the purchase! i passed by the dealer and noticed it was gone and wandered what happened to it.
