I have a couple of questions,

what size nozzle do you have running and at what psi?

have any of you guys experience weird wide band readings?

at 5psi, all is good 12.5 afrs, then I jump up to 9 psi, and right when the hobbs pressure switch turns on at 7psi (to turn on WI), my wideband goes straight to 20.0,
I have a 220cc injector/nozzel, is that to big??

I had the same problem with my wideband. I don't know if it was caused by my meth injection, but it would do the same thing. Just jump to lean off the scales. I ended up replacing the sensor and it's fine now.

I used to have a Hobbs switch too when my wideband went bad. That's a weird coincidence, because now with my methanol injection controller I haven't had problems with the wideband. Maybe the hobbs switch just dumps too much meth at once and fouls the sensor.

You need a meth controller, and they're not very pricey, so why not? (dunno)

were could I get a meth controller?

what size is/was your spray nozzle

and how do you make your meth/water solution? is it 50/50?

Labonte, and Snow are what I use.

The smallest one with the Snow Stg 1 kit, I really don't even remember what ml/min. I bought the Snow kit from a vendor on here, don't recall who, and bought my controller from Labonte.

I buy it from someone pre-mixed, or run straight alcohol.

I went to the snow website and it said that they would have to match it to the application, do you remember who the vender was? Is he still around?
thank for your help!!!

I really appreciate your help, I thought there were more guys on here that ran water/meth injection

so did you tune your car afr with water injection off? then turn it on to tune it again?

I just use the methanol on a Unichip tune. There's two maps on the Unichip, one for regular gas, and one that has advanced timing for race fuel. So I use the race fuel map, and turn the boost up.

I haven't tuned for it, but with the advanced timing map, and high boost my AFRs stay at 11-11.8 approx. Keep in mind I also run a J&S Safeguard, so whatever you do may not turn out the same as me. I make pretty good power how it is though, I haven't dyno'd it yet, but my mechanic has a twin turbo 350Z that I can pass on high boost.

Oh, and there are more alky guys in here, they just haven't chimed in yet. I like to keep it on the low anyways, if everyone finds out about alky injection I will lose the upperhand. :(

so how long did you run the hobbs switch with the new O2 sensor before you switch to the controller?

controllors cost from 115-500

I ran the hobbs switch for about 1000 miles or less. I put less than 3000 miles on the car a year.
