CAI and Cat Back = 6HP ??

I was reading a Canadian magazine called CANADIAN WHEELS.
In the July issue they were having to contest of giving away modified Protege5.
But anyway, they dyno the car with a CAI and a cat back and it came out with 6HP more and 10lb more of torque.
I thought there would be more HPs........
Those contest car has like carbon fiber hood, rims, H&R springs and other goodies. You might want to pick up a issue coz it talks about all the performance after the mods. The good and bads.
Just sharing the info.

6HP would be about right. 10 lbs of torque is really good if that's all that was done. My car only picked up about 6 to 111.2 with the exhaust and air filter. I picked up 7.8 more with my header to 119.

oo.....cool........I would of thought the CAI and catback would give a little more then 6HP...........10lb torque is really good thought...

It's not a bad little car. it came out to one of our meets in T.O. and they apparently have big plans for it before it's given away.
