C/F Trunklid Installed: Pictures!

not really a fan of it.. but i dont like CF.

deinitly put stock taillights back in

The rear is just too busy with the exhuast, cf trunk, and tails. Its a lot of colors to take in which makes it lack uniformity.

I think it looks killer with the color of the car, and yes definetly get rid of those hideious tail lights...yech!

When I first put it on, it was sitting alot higher than the fenders, because the stock tension was too much for the lighter lid. We took the springs out, (actually just two metal rods) and now it sits and closes just like stock. Maybe like 1/8 of an inch if that higher than the fender, hardly noticable in person. I am overall very happy with the fit.

It's not flat because he's missing the piece that you have in CF on your car.

ya i have the c/f trunk lid with the c/f tails and it looks wrong........ so i am going to black tails to match my car........ plus i put my black stock piece on (over the plate lights) to break up the c/f......... did you have any issues with getting the lock to line up? plus now does your trunk fly open due to it being so light???

I know lol! This is what is all about: DO JSP PROVIDE ONE or I will have to put back mine?

There is no hole for the lock on the trunk, so I didn't have to line that up. I just open the trunk from the button by the driver's door. The latch at the bottom where the lid locks closed, that lines up fine, you can actually adjust it by loosening the two bolts a little.

About the missing piece...e-mail from JSP:

Dear Brandon-
Thanks for the picture. It's terrific. I should have the piece by Friday and will send it to you then.

...oh, and at first it flew up, but I removed the metal rods that lifts the trunk up. So that isn't a problem anymore.
