Hey there guys, I just made this account like 5 minutes ago. First post, here we go!
I bought my 2009 Mazda 3 last year. I pretty much devoted the first year of owning the car on catching up equity wise in it. Pretty much paying triple the monthly bill on it. Now that I'm caught up, time to spend a little on making it better than stock.
Things I'm considering doing to it.
1. Lowering springs, preferred 1.5 inch drop for front and back.
2. Adding the OEM spoiler to it.
3. Painting my wheels black, OEM wheels that came with it.
4. Getting a STS (short throw shifter) for it.
5. 2 12's w/ an amp.
Figured that would be a good start.
I've found a few things out there that I have some questions about....maybe someone here has already dealt with it and has some experience they can throw at me.
First. The springs.

Anyone here have these? Anyone know if they are decent? On there it says the front can be dropped 1.6 inches but the rear only 1.1? But on the title it says 2 inches for the front and 1.5 for the rear? Which one is actually accurate? Would I need a camber kit after the drop?
Second. Spoiler.

Does that look right to you guys? Looks like it comes with just primer, so I'll have to get it painted, no big deal. Anyone here get the OEM spoiler added on?
Third. Subs + amp.

Found this combo package. I'm not trying to get any competition type of stuff. From the reviews, sounds like a perfect fit. Anyone that actually knows anything about subs and amps willing to chime in?
Thanks guys, any replies are welcome and appreciated. Just trying to make some informed purchases.
