Buying a Mazda 3

So i decided to go with the Mazda 3 rather than the Mazda 6.

I want to get the S Grand Touring edition in either blue or white with the following options:

Moonroof & bose audio
Rear wing spoiler
Compass/auto dim mirror
Door Edge Guards

Can I save any money on buying the door guards another place and put them on myself or should I just try to talk them down to a reasonable price for everything?

its $22,575 with all the options I want. What would be a good price to negotiate to?

That sounds about right. If your willing to pay that much for a sedan, why not pick up the MS3 at that price? But if you are only interested in the sedan, to give you a much better idea, go to mazdausa.com and build the car to your liking. You will get a better understand of what you will have to pay with thoughs additional features.

I just bought a white Mazda3 and I LOVE IT! The color is hard to find used.

Use the power of email

My negotiating tip is ... send an email to 4-5 dealers located close to you, stating the model/color/engine/transmission/options you want, and tell them to email you back, 1) If they have it in stock, and 2) tell them you want to know their best price for it.

I used this approach, got 2 great quotes back from their "internet departments" ... I had a bigger fight getting good trade in value for the car I was giving them, than I did getting a good price on the car I wanted.

yah I just emailed a few people...two got back to me and 1 with a price of 21,419 for the white GT with all my options...its about 2 grand lower than the msrp. I'll have to wait to see what else comes in my inbox.

Yeah that is my next car. White 3 with the sports package. I have seen a few out on the road. Each telling me to buy them.
