Hey guys,

I have been unemployed for 9 months and then i just got a job and blew my engine, now i am having friends and family cart me to work and back, I am still paying my car payment and car insurance which is 500 a month roughly together and I cant drive anywhere. Someone Please come forward with a Cheap Short block I can replace my busted s*** with. I honestly only have like 150-200$ a month i can save from or w.e with no credit card space avail all maxxed from modding car last year before i lost my job. So please if anyone has a good block. even if pistons are ****** but the block is in good shape, offer me something cheap.

Cant help you with the block, but you might want to start parting out mods to fund your rebuild. If you still have the stock pieces any way !!

Take it off insurance. Then just sacrafice a few things here and there so you can afford it after a while.

Also, can you put your location in your profile please.

If you were not stubborn, you would go to stock, sell mods, get it running. Cannot walk to a lot of interviews, either. Nobody in their right mind will take payments for a block, let alone one that is going to go in a modded-to-hell car, as when it blows, you will probably stop sending payments...

Looked like it in post #1 about the 150-200 a month cash. Sorry if I was wrong about that, but op needs to just sell some of the mods to get the car on the road.

Yeah, get a piece-o-crap special to drive around in untill you can afford it. If you can't do that, you shouldn't have dropped thousands of dollars into a stock MZR DISI.

take the insurance off...mine is off. just return your plates and keep making the loan payments on the car....you'll be fine........ive had the insurance off my MS3 for 8 months now (off the road)

Just because you did it doesn't make it a good idea. In every auto loan agreement I know, you agree to maintain full coverage on the vehicle. Even if you aren't driving the car, it is still subject to fire, theft, flooding, vandalism, etc. If anything happens to the car, you are financially responsible for fixing it. If you don't have insurance on the car, that money has to come out of your pocket. In addition to continuing to make payments on the car. WORST IDEA EVER.

All you ******* people trying to give me advice on finances and insurance I did not ******* ask your opinions, If you dont have a ******* engine for sell go troll someone elses thread. I have done my ******* research removing the insurance would cost me more to re instate the tag and registration then it would be to just keep paying it, but as I said If u not here to offer me an engine, just please spare me reading your motherly advice. this car wont be down 8 months
