Bumper Bumper I need bumpers

Hi,

Well, another bumper got screwed up, this time the front. The passenger side corner of the front lip is a little dented underneath and now scrapped. This is of course in addition to the already slightly bumped rear bumper.

Here's my issue.

I called my insurance co and put in a claim for the rear a few months ago for the rear. They estimated damages at 450 USD and I have 300 deductuble. Needless to say that I have not yet fixed the rear bumper.

Now, the front is screwed up in way that is consistent with someone hitting the rear of my car slightly on a slippery surface (like snow) and pushing it into a curb. The scrap is mostly on the underside corner.

I wonder if I could convince my insurance co to allow me to pay the deductable only ONCE since the second incendent involves damages with the first ( the back bumper was hit 'again' and NOW the front bumper is also damaged?)

Just for the record if its possible to get front and back bumper covers (silver) for 300 USD or less I can just do the repairs myself.

TIA

Say that you got hit from behind and it pushed you into a parked car or some s***.

eh s***, im stupid, they already know about the first incident. if it got hit again though, you should only have to pay it once anyways.

If they are really cool about it, they'll just have you pay once for it since you never even bothered to fix anything yet. Which would be great if we lived in a perfect world. Or they can be what an Insurance Company does, and make you pay twice, since it is two different incidents. I believe your screwed unless some how they have the heart to let it go. Unfortunately this would look fishy to the insurance company because it'll smell like fraud to them, trust me I work for Insurance and we get bogus claims, where customers, try to claim "their lost dogs" or some s*** later, and try to get the company to pay for it. Once you start the ball rolling on claims, you better ask the adjuster to look over the car entirely, so that hell if you had scratches here and there that the claims adjuster, will just write off all the scratches as part of the over all damage to the car. Had a friend once get her car key'd on one side of the car. The car's paint was not to bad but was in need to get it all repainted, so they just had her pay the deductible, and painted the entire car.
