I need to find that out . It must be ok because its been that way for a while . I think sam said the msp stock ecu was at like 25 degrees and we need to be like 2o or so . I dont think the mpi is full degrees . I may be wrong ,I have like -9 in the 1 by 16 map and -7 in the 1 by 8 so i may be pullling like a total of -9 true degrees out. Which - 9 would still put me at 16 degrees total timming If my timming was 25 degrees .yellerandahalf said:Spark plugs are gapped at .024. I'm not really pulling anything, since I run standalone. I have 17 degrees of total timing above 13 psi(19 below 13psi), then it pulls timing if it sees intake temps above 130. Damn, if you're pulling 16 degrees, what total timing is that?

I dont have a egt gauge but the plugs look good . Its runni9ng strong right now. Its a hot humid done here in La . I think i got 15 out up top right now and its doing good. Hell man i wonder if i did put soem back in ,Dam it is quick right now.Bigg Tim said:It does pull degree's. It is whatever off the stock timing. So you potentially can be pulling 16 degree's off stock timing. You definatly have a lot of timing out. You could make more power if you put some in, but if you are running fine don't bother. Get a J&S and do the timing right man! How's your EGT's with that much out? If they ar eOK, then you should be fine. I know on C16 at 15psi, Nick was pulling like 10 degree's when he made the 300+whp on Dean's car.
Nice numbers man, good to see you making the power you should be making. You might consider the J&S too down the road. It will allow you to dial in the timing a bit more safely. Just a thought, keep up the good work!
