sounds great. im glad to hear this. im very confident that you will be just fine.

Im also planing to build the motor within the next few months.

Alrighty kids... here is the car. the first video is the idle for a few minutes as I talk about the specs on the car. the second one is myself driving through a neighborhood and then through a half mile twisty road. I don't see many problems with direct injection and low compression pistons. I've always been confident in this setup, and now is a start to proof that big power and a built motor can happen.

Special thanks to Ken and Zach at ProtegeGarage, once again, for setting me up with this combination. I kept trying to veer away from building the motor, as the cost wasn't friendly to the wallet, but Ken gave me comfort and kept my chin up with the car. I've had nothing but top notch service from ProtegeGarage and super fast shipping. All my business will continue to go to Ken for any automotive parts needs.

Here are some pictures which I snapped as well. The car is finally branded with ProtegeGarage as it should've been lightyears ago.

but glad your happy with the car hopefully ill be able to say the same about mine when its all back together

just watched the videos, thanks for the shout-out :) like you said this should easily quell the fears, myths, lies, rumors and fantasies of the naysayers out there when it comes to building these motors.

fa shooooo.

i went on a midnight cruise tonight with some friends and a dog named misty.

90 city miles driven and a 1/4 tank of 91 octane gas. more driving tomorrow. I have to go to the dealer and get a few nuts for the the downpipe studs on the turbo. running 3/5 right now.. lol

car is great. I couldn't ask for more. Someone mentioned about me repping PG with some bigger decals - i'm definitely down.

I don't understand guys like you

using common sense, why not upgrade your short block with forged/aftermarket pieces while it's apart if you can afford it and are capable?

piggyback, flash, stock, whatever Jon decides is fine and in time, you MS3 guys will have more tuning options than most realize

That makes Jon's ride way ahead of the rest

What was that guy with the mazda3 sedan using for EM. he was putting out like 550 to the wheels?
