Broken Fog Lights on my 2003 Mazda Protege 5

There are two fuse boxes one on the right bottom (drivers side) and one under the hood on the right next to the battery. it cost me 300.00 to replace mine...

Fog light fuse is in the fuse box under the hood, it is fuse #18
Once you check the fuse if that still hasn't solved your problem download the User Manual and check out section 09-18, has all the info about the lighting systems, you probably wont need to actually replace them because it is fairly unlikely both are burnt out at the same time, could just be a loose wire or something.

Thanks alot P5 fan i noticed that there was a fuse box on the bottom of the drivers side by the floor but i wasn't sure which fuse it was because the abbreviation's are kind of confusing on some of them.

Whoa $300.00 to replace the fog light fuse that's pretty deep. Pheeeeeeeew. Ill have to check that out. Hopefully i wont have to spend that much. Where did you buy the fuse? Also seeing that both my Fog lights are out is this a common problem for this to happen or do the Bulbs just go?

Thank you So much St Johans that is the best answer ive herd all day. Fuse # 18 Ill check out that Fuse and see if it needs to be replaced and if it does im hoping it wont cost $300.00 to replace like P5 told me it would .. Ill check out that User Manual to. Thanks Again and have an awesome day!

the fuse shouldn't cost more then $5.00, i think he meant replacing the fog lights themsevles cost that much... the housings are stupidly expensive

bumping a thread instead of staring new. my fuse is fine but both are out. I find this odd, but it was my wife's car and they could have gone out separately and been out for a while haha.

I have not crawled under the car yet. Can i replace the bulbs or are they sealed and do i need to replace the whole unit?

Check the How-to thread w/pics below. It should be all you need on getting your bulbs changed out.
