Broadening the power band on an FC

Absolutly...atkins rotary teams with another company (can't remeber their name off the top of my head) to put out a roots type kit...there are others as well.

I think there used to be a paxton SC kit out there as well. It has been a long time (15+ years) since I have seen one though.

If you like the canister type we should have a 2.5 pipe size exhaust finished up in the next couple of months. It should be quieter than the 80mm exhaust we have.
This is promising. The one thing that has kept me away from your exhaust products is the 80 mm pipe diameter - a little too much in my opinion for an N/A RX-7, even with a bridge port and ITB's planned. Sound does not concern me (obviously with a bridge port planned) as much as exhaust velocity.

To to OP, from another new RX-7 owner, you'd be best to stick with basic bolt-ons based on your description of what you are after. No need for engine/transmission swaps.

I was thinking of getting the Racing Beat True Dual Road Race exhaust with the rev 2.5 rotor muffler and the HKS Super Mega Flow Intake to start off with.

What is this Dynamic Tracking Suspension System I have read about and how does it work?

It works by having a bushing in the rear suspension that flexes under heavy load creating different rear toe angles...the idea behind it is essentially having the rear of the car steer around corners when it is needed...the reality is that it creates a rear end that tends to be on the twitchy side.

The true dual road race exhaust is just that - a true dual full exhaust. You'd have no need for that rotor muffler (you'd need two anyway). Also, don't waste your money on the HKS intake. Just get an AEM cone filter and call it a day.

Like Magnum said, getting an AEM filter works just as well for the intake. All the HKS kit has is a silicone connection, a mushroom filter, and a metal bracket. You can get some 3/4 Aluminum stock and bend one up. A drilled hole on one side and loop the bracket under the clamp for the filter on the other end.

Where can I get an AEM filter? Could you give me a better idea on how to custom build that intake, I am kinda dense...LoL
What about some replacement seat covers? Any ideas on upgrading the head rest speakers?

There is a how to in this section to build an intake for the fc s5...you don't even need that bracket really the filter sits where the old box used to be.

I read on another thread something about an "OMP" going out being a common problem. What is that?

Also how do I tell if my car has the stock adjustable suspension or not?

you have a s5 so you have the electrical OMP...or oil metering pump (it is what injects oil into the rotors housings to lubricate the rotor seals)...and where as they do fail its not nearly as much as the s4 one. you will also get a check engine light if it does fail

And if you have wires going to the top of the struts and have the controls in the center console you have the adjustable suspension
