lately i have noticed that under heavy braking my brake warning light comes on. after i have stopped and released the brake pedal the warning light disappears. anyone know whats up with this?

under heavy braking, brake fluid tends to collect at the front of the master cylinder, causing the warning indicator to come on, the most common reason for this is worn brake pads, as the pads wear less fluid is retained in the master cylinder causing this condition under heavy braking... (hope this helps)

check your brake fluid, if its way low more then likely you need brakes, i would not recommend filling the resevoir do to the fact when you have your brakes done or you do them yourself, when you push the caliper pistons back into there bore the extra brake fluid that you added will spill out into the engine compartement, may not be a big deal but brake fluid is highly corrosive exspecially to paint and wiring harnesses....
