brake converion

I have base model 323, not sure what package but has 13 inch wheels and rear drum brakes. I am converting to larger wheels soon. Any info on rear disc brake conversion for this? Also I am thinking about lowering the car. Is there any packages available for this besides cutting the springs or heating them?

DON'T cut the springs, it messes up too much.

you can go to the junk yard and pul the rear disk brakes off the protege lx or the escort gt.just dont forget the e-brake cable.

dont cut or heat the springs,thats just getto. find a quality set of springs and struts. b&g,eibach and h&rs just to name a few.

www.corksport.com is a good place to start but they can be expensive. i got my b&g springs from ebay. new,shipped 165. my struts and springs total costed under 400.
