right now im running dual set up but i miss hearing my turkey sometimes, i was wondering if it would hurt the car if i disconected the bov and capped off the vac line so i could hear if for a couple of days haha thanks for any information

well i don't know how you would do this if you had welded the bov on.. but i guess just so say if you could, you don't really want to, seeing that the main purpose of the setup is to prevent surge for the turbo and all that.. bla bla bla, I don't think that it have lasting damage if you did it for a short time just because the surge was there until you switched to the setup.. but it's still not good for the turbo, based on what I know at least

the 'turkey' sound is caused by compressor surge, that is, air being shoved back against the turbo, which is spinning at high speeds the opposite direction. It happens because of inefficiencies in the bpv setup. While its not like the car will blow up if it happens once (many people run this way for long periods of time), its definitely not good for the life of the turbo.

im running dual set up, when i want the turkey i just hold it around 4psi and shift haha
