bouncy ride

i have eibach sportlines w/ hps' and getting a bouncy ride. wondering if thats the springs or the struts. would like to get the illuminas eventually, and was wondering if that would correct it. also wondering what the quickest and easiest way to help counter understeer. thanks

Big rear sway bar would help with your understeer.

It sounds to me like your struts are going out, or are already gone if you are getting a bouncy ride.

bouncy means your dampers (aka struts) can no longer properly 'dampen' the compression/rebound motions of the springs, time to upgrade to stiffer struts.

ie blown strut...

or it could be that the struts are fine but are improperly matched to the springs (wrong dampening rates to the spring rates), so there's no way of telling without telling us how many miles are on them and what type of roads you drive on

roads are pretty average and there are about 40k on the struts. i did have the pro kit and they worked fine with these struts, but i'll upgrade to the illuminas sometime

if it was fine before and is bouncy now, then it's definately the strut(s)
