Bought New 2014 Mazda6 today

Hi all,

Just put a deposit down on a GS manual transmission with Luxury Pack in Soul Red.(idhitit)(idhitit)

It will be a few days until I get it. Can't wait. I have had a 2004 Nissan Quest for 9 years now. Will be a nice change.

Should I be waxing it right away? I have read mix answers. What would you guys recomment?

Clay bar it and wax it...may not be a bad idea to Polish it before waxing it too. Your car may have some spots and such from sitting out in the weather. Here is my process. Wash with dish soap to remove all the crud. Clay with Mothers Clay bar kit. Then I apply Duragloss Polish Adhesion Promoter (dont recall actual name), then Duragloss Total Performance Polish, then finish with Duragloss Aquawax. This would definitely get that Soul Red to pop...it sure does on my wife's Sky Blue CX-5. Unless your car was built last week, you should be fine.
