Bose centerpoint feature disabled in 2015 CX5

I recently bought a 2015 Mazda CX5 Grand Touring. I absolutely love the car; I was exploring the setup options and saw that the centerpoint settings under the sound settings is disabled. It is defaulted to "Off" and I am not able to change it. Since I am new to this car, I was not able to figure out why it was disabled.
Please help me make the most of the Bose audio systems.

The centerpoint setting is for your audio cd playback. It is disabled for the other playback modes.

It will also work with music from a USB if I'm not mistaken.

USB...i cant get a frickn usb to work with anything..

Unless they have changed the Centerpoint feature, it sounds better with it off.

Format your USB again and choose FAT or Fat32, NTFS dosn't work.

Agreed. Centerpoint seems to makes everything sound mono. A waste of time.
