Anyone have a catback borla exhaust if you do I would appreciate some answers to my questions.

Anyone getting cels?
How much did you pay with installation if applicable?
Where did you get it?
how does it sound?
Are the power gains noticable

I'm looking for a deep throaty exhaust.
Any other suggestions?

Thanks guys

I've had the Borla system installed for a week now. I bought it from Ptuning
http://www.ptuning.com/html/Item-De...=3&ModelYear=2004 All 2.3L Models&ModelDesc=3 (There is a 5% discount offered somewhere on this site). I paid $60 to have it installed. No CEL. I am extremely happy with the system. Very quiet at idle and cruising speeds, but has a nice deep growl when you step on it. IMO it is deeper than the other exhausts I have heard. ie- Draxxas, Vibrant,Magnaflow. There is definitely more throttle response and smoother acceleration. I'm sure the gains are only 5-8 HP, but it is noticeable to me. As soon as I purchase an intake, I will take it to a Dyno.

Nice I just ordered the umnitza short ram intake and need that exhaust. Where did you get it installed and is there any popping like you get with the magnaflow.

I got it installed at a local exhaust shop near my house. no, it does not have the popping sound like the Magnaflow, which is good by me. The Umnitza is a good price, but I am not a fan of carbonfiber. I will be purchasing the SR Motorsports intake. It is pricey, but I like their use of aluminum as a heat shield. Let us know how the combo works out.

Agreed, the intake does look ok, but for an intake I rather have an aluminum heat shield which helps remove heat. I don't know if this helps or not but it can't hurt. I've also never liked carbon fiber wings, hoods, ect.

I agree with the hoods wings and anything on the outside of the car, but I don't drive around with my hood open so who cares what it looks like. I like the oem fit of the intake and the resonator doesn't need to be removed.

It does look like a nice fit. Maybe I will go that way, still deciding.
