I was just wondering how many people are using it, and also if you are, how important is the dedicated vacuum line, more important than the 1 inch outlet on hotpipe, or equally as important? (in terms of "turkey" removal) Thanks!

I've got it on my car. I can say with certainty that having 1" ports on both your hotpipe and intake are key to killing the turkey. As for a dedicated vac line, it's obviously a good thing, but I can't say I noticed it making a real difference.

I still get a gobble or two when I let off the gas occasionally, but generally it's a much more pleasant "chirp-psshhhh". I think I need to regrease the piston, and the gobbles are coming from the valve not opening quickly enough at times.

sweet, its fun and all seeing the weird looks on peoples faces on the sidewalks but i know its a tad stressfull on internals. got an sls hot pipe coming in and will weld on the 1 inch nipple, i just dont want to take out the intake and find a shop that will weld aluminum. ah well, Thanks for the post!

Yeah, it's barely worth increasing the nipple size (snicker) on the hot pipe if you don't do the same on the intake. It only cost me $20 to have a shop weld a 1" nipple onto the intake.

same set up here does make a difference in getting rid of that pesky little turkey. Everyonce in awhile i just get a pssh. but usually it is a chir--pssh.

that i can handle. cant wait to get rid of it...cant help to think that im causing same serious turbo issue....but hey maybe ill drop a disco potato lol

Nah, you're not causing any serious turbo trouble. If you've got the turkey it *usually* means your recirculation setup is less than ideal, but at near-stock boost, you're not shredding the turbo or anything.
