That *may* be inaccurate. I think I recall reading in the UEGO manual that it had to be 12-20" away or something. Anyone have their manual handy?

in 3rd gear aproaching redline im at 11.7 a/f but..... i hit 800 celcius??? which is too high.
i have been staying out of boost, except for when testing my WBO2.
sound like you got the fmu adjusted now...did you do the air hose check and see the gain in fuel pressure you are getting?paulmp3 said:i adjusted my fmu last night. now while boost is building sometimes i am in the 13's but once at full boost it stay around 11. I think im safe now, or should i turn it up a lil more? Hopefully i didnt do any damage. the car feels more powerfull already. Hopefully i will have engine mgmt within the next month or so, i am just waiting for all these products to get released.
JAJE, how far in is the screw on top of ur FMU in. Mine only has about 1/4" left to go.
Another sign you are lean. You want to be well below 700. I would think about 630-650 would be comfortable, prob just barely richer than you need.paulmp3 said:
also my highest EGT while boosting is about 800 celcius.
thanks for the comments and the help.
Kooldino said:@ WOT you should be hotter than 1250.
I calculated a bit higher than 1400F w/ the conversion utility I ran. Either way, be careful.
Kooldino said:Btw, if your wideband is there, then where is your primary O2?

Check out my probe in the downpipe.
I have never reached over 630C in my car. On the track, on the streets, cruising on boost and out of boost.
NEVER!
But...it builds 600C fast, and my warning light is set to 620C

What do you have to keep the ECU from pulling fuel? A voltage clamp like the rest of us?
Glad to hear you're not running stoich at boost. . .that was scary (even for me). . .I kept saying. . .oh no. . .I hope he's okay.
Enjoy!

all you need to do is loosen the nut, take an allen wrench...next blow some air into the boost input on the fmu (should be on top) and look at your fuel pressure gauge to see what it reads...if andy did yours like mine then it is only for the fuel pressure you get from the fmu and not total fuel pressure (stock system)...you want around 60-70 psi added and just turning the allen key clockwise will allow you to adjust it
igdrasil said:hey...
what fmu u have and how you adjust it?
another thing...
please confirm that your egt probe is in the downpipe or in the collector...if its in the collector, 800C is good
your af is around the low 12s under boost which is good so it looks like your in the safe zone...you probably are at 50-60 lbs extra supplied by the fmupaulmp3 said:I will try this, my air compressor is broken. I will give this a try soon. i remember andy doing this to your car, i watched him. As of now that little screw is all the way in. which he said has my fuel pressure all the way up.
