so im sure this is a talked about topic and i hope im not beating a dead horse. but what kind of pressure are you boosting and holding on a gear pull. im asking because i just installed a corksport TIP and new CS recirc hose and i think i may have a leek somewere. i also have a MS CAI and a Forge BPV. if memory serves me before i installed the TIP i had a peak boost of 16psi but i dont remember if my boost was holding or fading. after the installation of the TIP im now getting about 15 psi but i noticed on a 3rd gear pull the boost pressure would drop to about 12-13 psi. and about the same in 4th. is this normal for the MS6 or did i develop a leak along the way? any input would be great guys.

Yeah i have a MSP, but i also have a MS6 and my question is about my 2006 MS6. im in the right forum?

so even though its 27 degrees outside i couldnt wait to find out why my boost levels fell off a little and why i was getting so much boost fade. so i froze my ass off and spent some time under the hood checking all my connections and rechecking. everything was all tight with no issue, so i made another run. same reading on my boost gauge, so i thought about it some more and figured i would check my boost gauge line. low and behold that clear tubing that prosport sends with the gauge which im not a fan of had worked it self off a little on the T'd connection. so a looked through my stuff a found a section of good silicone hose and replace it, zip tied all the connection....... made another run and JACKPOT!! car is back to seeing 16psi with very minimal boost fade only drops to about 14-15. all that worry and frustration and its was such an easy fix.
