Boost Gauge

Prosport's are popular. I have the prosport digital. I would suggest getting a high end boost gauge like the prosport premium series. Not really for the special features but the quality. The boost gauge very important so you need it to read spot on. A cheap one really isn't worth the effort unless you wan't it just for looks.

Ahh i was just going by looks, they looked the same. So difference in a mechanical and electronic one just runs a PVC tube up to the gauge and one has a sending unit?

Bingo. With the electrical one, you get to see Prosport's famous opening and closing ceremonies, too.

I run this gauge on my supercharged Miata and the Speed6 and it works the best as it is a mechanical, direct reading from the manifold. Although it doesn't have the "cool" electronic doodads, it doesn't have the multiple failure modes and error problems of electronic gauges... It also provides a sanity cross-check of the DH reading/MAP sensor output...

I think i'm going to invest in gauge that's electronic. I really like the Prosport for the simple fact the amber almost matches identical to our dash, looks clean and factory. Also a short run of pvc tubing makes it less likely to have a leak somewhere.

Where is the best place to purchase one???
