Boost gauge with vibrating needle

I just recently installed a forge bpv and derlin trz motor mount. Right away I notice a much crisper boost from the bpv and a solid drivetrain from the mm. I didn't have a boost gauge yet so I installed one a little after. I know the forge bpv holds boost better but I am getting a vibrating needle on the boost gauge.

Its a an autometer pro ultra lite, so I no its not crap but I have had crappier gauges and the needle never vibrated like this one does. Not sure if it is the mm vibrations or some boost issue but it will rapidly vibrate 2 to 3psi in either direction under wot in third through sixth. It is fine till above 10psi when it starts vibrating. Issue or normal?

Also I have seen random threads about stock boost levels and it seems to hit them but tapers off quickly all under 4 to 5k rpms. Just wondering if this is normal for stock too.

Autometer is known for the "vibrating" needle. I have one in my supercharged SVT focus and it does it to. You don't need a electronic gauge to get a smooth sweep. My mechanical gauge is very smooth...Boost tap location can sometimes cause that - where is your tap? You can put a needle valve in your boost sensing line to quiet down the signal to your gauge. Just slowly close it at idle till the bouncing stops. Just make sure you don't close it to much it can cause false/delayed readings on your gauge.
