It has to do with gain. Ok a waste gate opens and lets the air flow like an open wastegate as soon as you start getting to the set boost level it bleeds off boost to get your desired boost level. Now boost controllers have a setting called gain. This tell the wastegate to open up and be open long and shut quicker for the same boost level hince more power. It just pretty much operates the wastegate quicker in a sense.
yeah I mounted my solenoid box under my airbox with a custom bracket. Then i used stock black vacum hose with rubber pad shielding around it to make it look stock. The only thing you can see if you REALLY try in the blue silicone hose going from the wastegate to the solenoid box.
