Bluetooth MAP and 2015 Mazda 3 using Samsung G3

My phone and car app paired with no issues. Downloaded the phonebook and I can get and receive calls using the car communication system. I get notices that messages are available for download to the car and when I say "download" it just spins for a while and then errors out. Says it cannot download. Per Mazda USA site, the Samsung Galaxy 3 is compatible for text, but not email. Text doesn't seem to work. Any ideas?

I tried it on my wife's 3 and it worked with no issue with my Nexus 5/Lollipop. We don't use SMS at all normally, we do use WhatsApp / Google Hangouts, which will not be integrated until full Android Auto is available.
Email is not integrated too.

Thanks. The Mazda dealer was able to make the text work. Not sure what the deal was but the tech thought it was I had too many messages (mostly twitter feeds). You are right, it doesn't work with email per the Mazda site. Thanks again. Jeff
