Blueprotegelx Turbo Build

Thanks for the pics! I will be heading to mess with my car tomo. Tonight we are celebrating my birthday. Hopefully I got a cell phone, ha. My current one broke after i slipped in the oil spill the other day so I can't use my 8 button, and I have to do some funky things on my cell to find the right word to say. ha.

Tomorrow's duties on car:
-My bro said there is a slight oil leak that looks like it's coming from the middle of the motor. might be coming from the oil return fitting welded on. he said he didn't think the guy did that well of a job.
-Put more coolant in b/c it's low
-check my install of vac block to see if it's on correct side of check valve.
-Fix gauges
-Make sure all IC clamps are secured tightly, as well as vacuum hoses to rule out vacuum leak.

-Anything else guys and girls?

lmao i was wondering why you typed out the number eight...

sounds like a good plan for tomorrow.

edit: did you figure out the fan wiring?

I could meet up with ya sometime tomorrow if ya want to check the bb line for the valve and look for leaks. If you do get a phone, or not, just text me tomorrow. I get off at 3.

Sounds good Sean, I'm not sure what time we're going to At&t, so i'm not sure what time I'll be working on car. I will let you know.

did you figure out the fan wiring?

The fan wiring matched colors with the stock wiring so I color matched them. I'm going to hook them to battery to see if they work and go from there. Just seems if their color coated then it'd work. We'll see...

happy b day bro!

let us know how the vac block checks out, thats what im putting my money on the problem is

My bday was the 2nd but thanks! lol. I hope your a lucky gambler then if you think it's the check valve! It'd make my day if it was something that easy.

damn your having a lot of problems lol..good luck...i just got done doing the 626 with thermal spacer upgrade lol...its amazzzzazzzing

not really. only a couple things, honestly I think it's only minor and possibly easy fix. probably a mistake i made when i stayed up all night installing.

was there a great amount of power added with 626 and spacer? I have spacer with vtcs removed and ported

Happy Bday BlueProLx!!!

You're gonna have a blast with the car after the install...damn I miss boost!

the check valve should be on the right of the vac block. if its on the left it will cause problems.

you should feel a small bump when feeling the brake booster line

Check valve is on right side of block...I looked in the line and saw the valve in the hose on the right side that connects to block. Which means that's not what's wrong with my car cause that's the correct way. lol

Other suggestions?

if u are not seeing any vac there is something wrong

try temporary hooking it up to another source, like cruise control

So I found that the Throttle position sensor was unplugged. ha. Ooops..not sure if that's exactly what the cars problem was or not, b/c I'm working on hooking the gauges up and had to run to store to swap fans b/c i got to big of a fan, and then run to my bro's work to get wire. Here in about 10 min i'm gonna head out to fix the leak, which i believe is coming from oil adapter plate area and then i'll start car up and see how things are. Everything has been little mistakes I made...

lesson to be learned: Do not stay up all night and work on car or you'll miss little things due to lack of sleep...

I had a few issues with oil return line leaking bad. But it's fixed and car pulls great. I think my boostgauge is broke. Oil pressure not working either I think I have it hooked up wrong

you have to meet up with me tomorrow. what is your vac source for the bov? you shouldn't have any turkey. we can run em hahahah

sensor wire? what boost gauge you running (or are we talking about the oil lol)
