I just wanna share my experience with andrew aka bluebatmobile. I installed his smoked fogs and smoked tail light overlays. I love the way it came out! Minor trimming was needed in the rear to get them to fit the way i liked but the install went smooth and it looks great. Thank you andrew.

Andrew is great. I ordered some and the color was a shade off so he redid them. He has great customer service and if you like the overlay look then go for it. I did not like the look but andrew is awesome and will take care of you.

I get compliments everyday on my eyelids and foglamp overlays. no problems, I didn't even know his name was Andrew, that's how quick and easy it was.

ditto...i always have other protege owners asking me where i got my tail lights from and then i tell them that its an overlay and they always ask where they can get them. i always point them to here, but i dont know if any have purchased yet or not...so far i'm the only one in san diego with the overlays on the sedan tails.

Those looke nice Does Andrew have a website? How much did they cost?
Thanks,
Don

Blue Batmobile

Didn't he used to have another webpage? The one mentioned above does not have pricing or order info?

Is his regular webpage down? The web address bluebatmobile.com just leads you to photobucket.com.

I wanted to order some of these but cant figure out how.

Overlay look great man :). Prices are located above each picture on my Gallery. There is a "Contact Member Box" located at the top of each page as well. Or simply Email me to order ;).

When are we *finally* gonna get the smoke overlay for the sidemarkers (bumper lights) on the P5?

PLEASE?!?!?!

Lookin' good! Now you need to smoke the entire taillight and the sidemarkers (orange = (yupnope) ), and do the eyelids! Here are some pics of my baby with the overlays - all from Andrew!

I LOVE them - but then, anything on my car that isn't blue, black or silver is quickly changed!! Blue strut bar, blue HVAC lights, etc. The only thing I haven't changed yet (because I've heard it's a PITA) is the lighting on the instrument cluster.

I considered getting the fog overlays, but I already have the 3M film on them (to prevent chipping and breakage), so I didn't know how well it would 'stick'. Also, I didn't want to reduce my visibility at night (ie how bright the lights are).

Inflames - how do you find the fogs? Are they noticeably dimmer than before you put the overlays on??

I used black semi gloss duplicolor paint, It came out great just prep the badges with some 400 grit sandpaper and you're set

I did noticed a slight reduction in light projection, but not enough to bother. The overlays do a good job of transfer light through. I plan on changing all my bulbs soon anyways to balance it all out.
