Blue Tinted Headlights?

Blue Colored Headlights?

Quick question for everyone, i work at a Mazda dealer, and i recently bought a Pro 5 and wanted to add the blue tinted headlights, i was told by our parts manager that the headlight on the Pro 5 was so new or something that you cant get them for the headlights, my question is that does anyone know of a website online that you can actually find the blue tinted headlights for my 03 P5, i hope that made sense, thank you.

When you upgrade your bulbs, they put a "bluish" tint inside. As far as getting them blue tinted, I've never heard of that before.

Sylvania Silverstars will give you the effect

or maybe he wants to tint the entire headlight like a few member have done...

Is this what you're talking about? Or doing the inside housing black like the one in my sig?

I like the little red fuzzy thing :D

as long as bulb type is H7, it works. you just have to connect these bulb to factory black round socket to make it fit.

Your dealer has been drinking the bong water then. There are so many different bulbs out there that are either HID immitation or straight up blue or purple coated bulbs. Finding them won't be a problem, deciding which ones are actually worth the money will be. I am running HIDs, so I can't really tell you where to buy them from because I haven't tried any tinted bulbs, but follow the link below and it will tell you the bulbs type you need to buy. After that it's as simple as just picking which company to buy from.

next time my friend, use search button.
anyway, www.powerbulbs.com or try your local auto parts store.
but stay away from any wattage greater than 55 watts.
Piaa is good quality bulbs but they are expensive.
from my experiences, I would save up money and get real HID kit.

Yeah, the silverstars are awesome, I have them in my high's and they put out awesome crisp bright lighting.

Tint? what tint? Something's wrong with you if you're looking hard at the tint :D

Great pic! (thumb)

Nice hood ornament, probably flies off at high speeds though. Hmm...is that a factory hood ornament? Mine didn't come with that option, bet the wife told the dealer not to get the fuzzy red hood ornament option. Anyway you can find the bulbs anywhere now adays. Are the silverstars that good? They are kinda pricey. Are they blue? I thought they were more of a white. I have blue H7 bulbs in my 2003, so yes they will fit.
Again this shows the mentality of the people at the dealership(not aimed at you Dontdrinkmywate)

dont buy the ebay crap, they supposedly get too hot and start causing damage to things, get sylvania or piaa or another good quality name brand. also, if youre gonna get the blueish headlights, get foglights too, it looks just plain odd with blue headlights and white fogs

Just a heads up. Advance Auto Parts (local store, like Autozone/Pepboys) is having a sale on Slyvania Xtravision, Cool Blue And SilverStar bulbs. Buy one get one 1/2 off. PLUS, there is a $6 rebate on it!

For example the SilverStars go for $19.98 each, so it's $29.97 for a pair, then subtract $6.00 = $23.97 + tax

Got myself 2 pairs :D
