blow off valve

i thought the bypass valve tube came off the top of the intercooler and into the intake

On the stock setup, it is going from your air intake pipe (below the airbox there is a nipple) and then it has a hose that goes to a nipple on the hot pipe (pipe coming off the turbo).

Do you have to make it recirculate? The FMIC kit I offer gives the ability to have a bov (vent-to-atmosphere) on the hot side without the worry of stalling as it also relocates the MAF. It really depends on the setup you go with.. whether or not you want to be recirculating or venting to atmosphere. You will definitely get more sound from a BOV that is venting to atmosphere.

what can i replace it with that i can still use when i put the fmic and cold air on it?
