hey guys, i want to get a blow off valve. ive seen the post about putting a blow off valve on your stock piping with dual setup for no turkey or stalling but i was wondering if you guys would think it would be better to wait till i get a front mount intercooler to place the blow off valve on - so that when i decide to sell my car i can have stock pipes to put back on...anyways, tell me what you guys think!

Wait till you get an intercooler. Thats what I did. If you want sound for the time being get an intake. Thats my .10

i agree with the above posts. i did put my greddy bov on my stock piping to get rid of the turkey AND it worked. but, i can't wait to put on some hard pipes. the epoxy doesn't stick well for long and now my bov just pings up against my strut bar every time my engine shakes (ie. start up, shifting, stoping, engine boggling) it's now a pain.

actually that alone will only accentuate the turkey (alot) i don't think she wants that. that's what made me decide to put the bov on stock pipes to begin with. i hate that little bastard.(bang)

i have the intake and the turbo xs BOV... it is freakin loud as hell..... i may take it back off. who konws... i want hardpipes.

Damn, $2500? Ummm, I've been told that giving is the biggest gift you can give yourself... I'll make the sacrifice and take that $2500 off of you. You'd be plenty spoiled then!

get the Frontmount.

I went the single hardpipe turbo>intercooler route first. I loved having the greddy on there, it sounded nice. But with no real performance gains, having a car that sounded fast, but wasn't got old really quick. All in all I spent about $400 including the Greddy Type S (the only part I was able to keep and put on my FMIC).

I now have a FMIC and wish I had just waited and gotten everything at once.

i tried dual setup on stock pipes. long story short, i messed up pretty bad, and was forced to get a fmic lot sooner than i had planned.

i learned a valuable lesson from that, which is do it right the first time. get the fmic.
