I want to know if anyone has painted/powder coated there stock rims? How did it turnout? Did you do it yourself or did you take them somewhere?

I have a vivid yellow 03 PR5 and I think black would look nice but dont want to spend the bucks on a new set of rims, plus there isint much choice in black....

WheelMax SUCKS, DO NOT buy from them!

Technically, this is gunmetal & not black, but you get the idea.

Look online for places in your area or ask people who live by you. Every place is different, so no one can tell you what it will cost...you just have to call the place & find out.

oh ok. I didn't know there were powdercoating places. Just looked some up in Seattle...guess I'll give 'em a call and find out how much... thanks!

Heard about this shop a while ago when I had my 98 Neon. The shop was run by one person for along time, Shane Hale, but has grown due to high demand. Shane is known throughout the Neon community for his great powdercoating work. I HIGHLY recommend him. Lots of color choices, and he can do everything from rims to valve covers to suspension parts. I am actually going to call him to do some rims as well, if I can't find the right color I want :)
