Black on Black?

Ok, I've looked as the rubber prices, and I will be using the 205/50 setup.

I'm about to order these, should I go for black or chrome lugs?

imo, the ones on the right look really good because of the slightly newer lines on the car and the headlights, the more classic looking rims look good on the older lines and flip up headlights, just my opinion but the black on black is really nice.

I'm still not wild about the Rota's, but I think the chrome nuts would look good. Black tires>chrome lip>black wheels>chome lugnuts.

The one's in the top righthand pic are custom colored. They can't be ordered that way... and they're only 6.5" wide... so they're out.

I'm pretty sure I'm going with the Rota GT3s with a 205/50 tire setup.

If you go larger than 205/50R15 you'll have speedo problems. Also if you car is lowered, you'll rub.
I'm rubbing now on FM Springs and 205/50R15 RT-615s on Kazera KZ-M wheels. The next time I have the car in the air I'll have to roll the fender lips.

rickman i think the rewinds come in graphite. you can get them at goodwin racing. i was looking at them too. also i dont know how much they weigh, but the drag dr16 (i think) is a copy of rota gt3. i see a lot of those for sale on ebay

From what I've read and been told the 205/50 15 setup is the way to go on an NB.

Brain from Goodwin says: "However, generally folks will run 205/50/15s on a 15x7 and that works out especially well for later Miatas, and those with forced induction. This is also the standard combination for autocross and track days. "

I do hope to make it to the autox.

I just showed a pic of the Konig Rewind to a client of mine (who happens to be an automotive paint specialist), and he said he's paint them OEM brilliant black in the middle for free... go figure. Just as I was about decided on the GT3s.

I know how you feel. I was only putting it off until I sold my old MSP wheels.
JLB also has stuff they don't list on their site, like the Falken tires I ordered.
