Black Grille

Has anybody vinyl'd their front grille? or do most ppl paint? just wondering if vinyl shops can do well around those curves. i was considering plastidipping the grille, but i feel like it prob wouldn't stick well. if you have any experience, let me know please.

I painted mine, it was easy. Hardest part was just making sure I had taped everything off well enough. Make sure you cover the whole front bumper with paper & tape.

go with Vinyl setup, all you have to do is heat shrink it around the corners not a big deal, sides it won't be perm so later if you change your mood then just remove it.

Plastidip it and let me know how it turns out! I've seen STI's with it done and it looks pretty good. My main concern is how easy it is to remove.

i just did it last nite! turned out real nice except it peeled off a little on the edges bc i got lazy with replacing the tape towards the last coats, but you can always respray. you should be taking off the masking tape after each coat so that the rubber doesnt stick to both the tape and the car. heres a pic i took with my phone this morning. it looks little better and more glossy in person.

and its REALLy easy to remove..

looks sweet I'll be doing that shortly! I think im gonna leave the mazda emblem chrome tho
