3M and your fingernail then? WOW! That's what I've been waiting for. To see a black Mica done. How long have you owned your ES?

Now I just need to find the time. Looks great man! (thumb)

thanks..... i have had mine since august...... dont believe the 15 minutes a door.....even with a blow dryer it took me like 30 to 40 minutes a door and a huge blister on my thumb!!!!!

nice job. But it took you 30-40 min. a door!? After I got the hang of it on the first door (25min) it only took like 15 after that. but anyway nice job. The next thing you need to do is take that hairdryer and peel off those ES stickers. ;)

Wow that looks really clean. Good job. So all you used was a hairdryer and your fingernails?

well i dont really have fingernails so that probally lenghtened my time... no i used the 3m adhesive remover and squirted that ontop of the molding.. let it sit them just peeled the molding off! next i took a sponge and more 3m and soaked down the remaining 2 strips of adhesive!! then i took a hair dryer and my thumb and peeled off the majority of the adhesive them used the 3m stuff again and my little fingernails and scratched off the remainder!!!!! it took me a while but i like it....and i an going to take off the es stickers when my fingers heal!!!!

Sweet, I might seriously consider this now. Especially since all the cars around here are huge SUV's and are to high to hit the molding with there doors anyway.

just be carefull where you park and you'll be fine. I always park away from people. And double park in places where it isnt an a$$hole thing to do. So far so good.

I think it looks great. And if I didn't already have paint marks on my moldings, I might consider doing it myself...

I park as far away as possible, around NO cars, and yet some moron still parks RIGHT next to me :wtf: There are 50 billion parking spaces all around me, why do you choose the one next to me!!
Oh and my car attracts shopping carts too, which just happen to hit right above the side molding...

hahahahaha... sorry man..... the only thing I've had to worry about so far are the damn birds .... no matter where I park they sh%t on my car!!!!!! but I guess thats alot better than dings...

yea but you see. . .they are too high to hit the moldings (oh man oh man i wish they did) because now they are high enough to hit your door at the crease of it (height of the door handle) i have 3 nices ones up there and i know one is specificially from a durango and the others from other SUV's. . .. .so f*cking gay

allright, since i shave my side moldings i had one person hit my door...... but upon investigation it would have left a mark anyway,,,,, so i just park away from eberyone now and i still love the look!!!!! it is a small mod but i love the look and others have noticed it !!!!!!!

It looks great, but what did it look like before? It looks just like my car, and I havnen't done anything...

well, scott 42, if you drive a MSP or MP3 your car doesn't have door moldings
