Billet Grilles

I just thought I would contribute to this thread by adding these close up pictures of the billet grille that you are looking for, Personally I like the look a lot but I don't have that kind of money to spend so I'am settling for the CF autoexe grille it cost me around $185.00

here are the pics of the Billet Grille

You can make just about anything with a roll of duct tape you know.

Seriously, I feel your pain, seems like everything I want to do to my car costs an arm and a leg.

I like that new style of Billet looks pretty hot.
I might have to switch.
What is that little emblem in the upper grill?

I have a house to pay for, I can't spend big cash on my car:(

This grill cost my less than ten bucks at the hardware store, + paint.

The opening around the grills were body colour, so I painted all around the grills black to make the openings look larger.

I hope this gives you some let costly inspiration.

jsahyoun....I agree, the billet gives a different look that most people driving this type of car don't go for, so there will tend to be less on the road that look the same going for this look. I've always been partial to the billet look on most cars/trucks, ever since the billets came out. Thanks for the input on the close fit. I've noticed in some of the pics I've seen (this may just be from digital camera) that it looks like the horizontal rails don't stay evenly spaced and parallel. Is that just an illusion in the photo or how it realy is?

clownphish...whenever you get a chance PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE post or email me some close ups of the gaps and the spacing of the rails. If it gets really close and has a good finished look I'll go this route rather than spending $400-500 on the EZ solid.

subghetto....thx for the EZ Solid pix....that is a sharp look....just wish it wasn't so expensive.

I don't know what the emblem says but I'am taking a wild guess that it might be (EZ soild) but don't quote me on this.

There is sort of a weird bend in the upper grill. But that is just because the opening is kind of triangle shaped near the bottom. It still fits really well. The bars on some may look uneven, but they actually are very bendable so if you think the gaps are uneven then you can fix it. search "pics of jsahyoun's MP3" that is word for word the thread. I dont want to make the grill seem cheap because it definately isn't, but it has some play.

yeah I know what you mean drew72 ca I would have def gone for the EZ solid polished billet grille but it's way to expensive so this is the grille I will be getting soon.

Unfortunately right now this is the closest I've got but you can still see the spacing pretty well. It's a sharp looking grille, IMO.

And what you're talking about with the camera illusion is exactly what it is.

I can assure you that they are all evenly spaced and if they aren't you can space them. My husband installed it for me and he's a perfectionist when it comes to this stuff. My preference was actually for the EZ solid but I couldn't pass up the deal I got from mpfizzle, plus I like the brushed look better than the chrome. I'll see what I can do about pics for you still. :D

Oh, and another thing I like is the lower grille sits flush w/the bumper, looks pretty clean.

Yeah I noticed that too right after the instal.
I really like how that's flush now.
It really look sgreat in person.

Yeah, I had a billet on my truck and I noticed the bendability of the rails. That is kinda nice if they are a little off, to fix them. I've looked back at pics I took of that one and it gave the same illusion in the pics.

clownphish....LOL on the husband thing! I'm the same way. My wife has a different name for it though....*cough* ANAL *cough* Whenerver you get a chance try to get some close ups of the spacing at the point of the grille meeting the body of the car on the sides and top and bottom, on both grilles. Once you have a chance to do that, just email them to me at drew72home@yahoo.com

Thanks all for your help, info and putting up with all my questions and requests.

Andy
