well figured out my PS leak.. guess it was not the old line like i figured, looks like my "welded" fitting on the bottom of my PS can is broken and you can turn the fitting around in the bottom of the can( guess the glue used does not like ATF). So look like ill have to have that stripped and welded properly sometime next week. If its not one thing its another with the Gold parts..

well back out to the yard to remove the tree that fell during our Saturday storm and almost landed on the P5

Niiiiiiiiice, thank you. :)

The Speed3 seats look really good, man.

I also noticed you deleted your hood release lever. I was debating on doing that and using the locking Areolatches. Where did you get that air diversion plate with the hood release covered up? Did you make it yourself?

Delete it! I did it too. Took less that 5 mins. Removed the 3 bolts up top and the few down below. Remove the grill and you can reach everything you need to with lady hands, I did. As far as the diversion plate, he made it himself

hey you found the PS leak! Good news. Lookin good JT!!!

yea, so the guy that does all my tig welding locally does not know if he can fix the PS can because of all the different metals involved. Ill need to rebuild it if i want the parts welded properly like they should have always been

I've never seen one job come back and bite somebody in the ass so many times

What kind of metals are we talking? Either way different metals like that being welded together can cause premature corrosion O_O Especially when it comes to stainless. but those are more likely aluminum. which once aluminum gets dirty its extremely difficult to get a good weld.

Can is stainless fittings are brass and they were never welded to start, they were glued into place. If they were welded I would see some kind of weld somewhere near the fittings.

I have the same PS tank with Zero issues!! Have you sorted this out with Brian? I had to use a different hose with my install, but the brass fitting with epoxy has never leaked!! I've bought three PS reservoirs all super high Quality one for the protege, one for the company Supra, and one for my brothers EVO. I have respect for everyone here! Don't talk s*** unless you have tried to contact the seller/Builder!

Do you need me to contact Brian for you? He's a stand up guy when it comes to this stuff. It's weird that you're not getting a response of any kind.

Damn, it's looking good. Sucks to hear all the problems your having, this year seems to be a pain for you. Hopefully you get it resolved quickly and can get back on the road. By the way, new interior looks great too!

Thanks, I drive the car everyday and am really enjoying it. Issues happen but can't let them stop me from enjoying the summer.
