THe only thing I'm not big on is the sticker placement. Everything else is 'perdy.

The sticker is off now, I was just expermenting on the advertisment of www.mazdamp3.com If I put it back on I will make it curve with the CAI. But at the show, it had no sticker.

Thanks for the compliments guys. The CAI building is going kinda slow right now. I've only shipped out about 4 of them. I'm going to change the design a little so that it is a better fit and much easier to build. I have to spend the next two weeks on my turbo though. so after HIN on Aug. 3rd, I'll be fully commited to the CAI's again. The new way I'm building them I will be able to make them faster so the wait won't be so long. Thanks again for the compliments. Also, I decided not to use the recirculation hoses on the intake. All they do is suck hot air from the motor so it will start easier in cold weather. This is only needed after the car is like 5 or 6 years old and you have around 100,000 miles. The motor doesn't want to start as easy then, so it needs help by using this warm air. But if you are looking for a little more power, this hot air won't help. The filter is like $5 to $10 at Autozone or Pep Boys. It looks like a little air filter.

The garment on the little filter is not longe enough on mine, how did you get yours to fit? I got a little yellow one from Auto Zone.

I had the same problem on mine. I had to put a longer hose on it. You could just use a piece of brass tubing to extend it. I will probably start including these with the CAI.

Thanks again, big_ben for a great product. I am very happy with the intake. Will post pics later when I have time to get some good shots of it. Now for the rest of my engine bay....

The Foam stays on the bypass valve. Thats what makes it work as far as I know. I would recommend getting one because my buddy here in town had one and his car got submereged with water and the bypass noticed pressure or whatever... it saved the motor.
