What size tires should i get for the stock rims. Im looking at the BFGoodrich G-Forces and was wondering what size i should run. im hoping to get a tire that is a little more thicker.

anyone got a suggestion about tires size. or the tires im looking at

Those are badass tires. I had them on my last P5 and my roomate has them on his e36 M3 (im planning on getting them for both my P5 and M3 when I get a chance. You will love them.

i see them on muscle cars to turbo imports. every body loves them. thats why i want them.

i just want to know what size i should get. and what bigger size i can get on stock rims

I wouldn't go bigger...but if you really want to, I think you can get away with 225's. But I wouldn't....and btw the tires are amazing, I've had them for awhile and the grip is ridiculous.

Do you mean you want a taller or wider tire? There's a difference.

But there's a reason why the stock tire is the size that it is. It's the best fit. Why do you want more rubber? Any particular reason?

I'd stick with the stock tire specs if you're staying with the stock wheels.

I find the stock tire looks perfect esthetically with 7" wide mag...but like I said, you can go with 225/45 which would give you a higher profile or "thicker" looking tire.

I have them on MSP wheels at 215/45/17 and it looks just fine (stock width for the MSP's IIRC).

You can go 225 wide ("thick") if you want to or go to a 40 series sidewall height, but that's overkill IMO and sacrifices ride quality too much.

Those were the tires on my car when I got it.. Although mine were 205/50/17.. And they spun horribly.. Just my experience from them..

It depends on which G-forces you are talking about. Right now there are the g-Force Sport and the g-Force T/A KDW 2. You can do much better than the Sport version since in stock size they run $105 a piece and you can get Azenis RT615 for $1 more a tire.

The KDWs look very cool, but they cost $30 more per tire than the Azenis and $37 more than the Hankook Ventus Rs2 Z212. The only thing I can see the KDW being better in is treadwear. They are rated at 300 while the other two I mentioned are 200.

I've never owned them, so I can't really comment on how good they are. I'm just saying I would never buy a comparable tire that cost more than the Azenis RT615, because to me I think those tires are the cream of the crop for summer tires. When they wear out I might give the Hankooks a try just because they are a little cheaper.

just wondering how are these compared with the falken azenis rt615?
hated the bfgs...went back to falkens...ended up in ditch once ....unpredictable limits... no confidence in these

i'm just asking because i'm running the azenis right now but if the g-forces are compareable then i might try them.

Stick with the Azenis or the Hankook Z212. If you are auto-xing you'll want to stay with either one of those unless you want to run slicks. Take a look at the ProSolo cars running in the ST* and most of them run the Z212 or the Azenis Rt615. They run those tires for a reason.

To answer the question about size, the Azenis Rt615 and Z212 run wider than other tires. So stick with the stock size of 215/45-17, unless of course you are running auto-x, then you could move up to 225/45-17.
