What are some good things to talk about with your BF/GF?

It seems like we've run out of things to say to each other.

I don't mean to be an asshole... but if those uncomfortable silences last for too many days, then perhaps she's not the girl for you.

I mean... if you have to "think" about what to talk to her about, then it becomes a chore... you don't want that in a relationship.

It should be either that you don't need to talk (at some moments. every now and then, which is normal) without feeling uncomfortable. Or that you can talk about anything without worrying that you might "run out" of stuff to talk about.

If that was the case, people wouldn't get married in the first place, just to spend a lifetime "wondering what to talk about".

back to the gf/bf comments... yeah if you've got a hermy on your hands there is an endless possibility of what to talk about. if you can't find something to say to someone who gets to choose which bathroom they go into, you need speech therapy.

to be a bit more serious; finding hobbies in common is great but can be difficult, so yeah talking about other people is a never ending topic of conversation, you just get to tear into what other people do. it is great to vent.

p.s. if you ever get to have that amazingly angry makeup sex, you'll never want to go back...

how about you get in a fight with her, then have make up sex, then talk about your fight. that way, you'll always have something to talk about and you'll always have sex!

mmmm... make-up sex is the best sex. especially when i have a fight in my car, and then we find somewhere to park and "make-up".

It's easy to not find things to say after a few years but after only a few months or a year, that should'nt happen unless it's just gotten too boring. I have to say, after almost 5 years that we still find things to say and have interests in the same things. Sometimes they involve not so nice things to say....but hey, at least we talk about sh*t. lol
