Beware of buyer DK4214

Just a heads up to beware of any transactions with this "person" DK4214.
After cutting him a break on the price he asked that I hold off on selling the tuner for 5 days so that he could get paid. He promised money would be sent to me by paypal today.
I messaged him to inform him that I had not received payment, to which he replied "hey man someone pm'ed me for the tuner 200 so i went that route sorry bro" (his bad grammar, not mine).

Just goes to show that there are always deadbeat lowlifes out there that will ask for favors (I lowered the price and covered shipping) and then not follow through on their end.

really don't understand why you are making a big deal about this, last minute someone offered me a better deal and i went with it, and i appreciate you holding the tuner for me from Thursday when i pm'ed u, to some people money just isn't flowing especially around the holidays. i'm sorry i saved 50 dollars on a purchase. i had a stock exhaust i held for 2 weeks and then someone bailed that s*** happens on forums sorry once again..

Hate to say it, but it does happen a lot. Not an excuse for it, though. Just last week local kid kept lowballing me on an SSAFC. I told him no on his price but he kept lowballing. I was selling it for a good price, I was local AND I've worked on the car for him, for FREE since I know a lot about these cars, yet he STILL lowballs me. So I post it and sell it within a few hours. only AFTER seeing it for sale does ne start texting me, offering more. I had already given dibs and included shipping which cost me more, so I made less on it. I could have gotten more, but I promised the guy I'd give him time. When he came through, I came through. It was a deal we made as fellow enthusiasts and forum members.
