yeah well....ANYONE can have a set of guages....just because they are marked up to 240 mph (fake or not) sure don't make your car go that fast...lol....
you SHOULD have chopped them to not only LOOK like they do...but you should have made them look like the car was running...and that you took the pic while driving at 220 mph or something.....

PA_MP3_Man, orange line is 6,800 RPMs, like on our P5s 6,500. Red line is 7,200 RPMs fuel cut off, that's 200 RPMs higher than our P5s. It is a 1.8L 16v so it revs happier than 2.0L 16v VWs and Mazdas too.
But, the red line is the least of important things on the GTi, it is the speed and handling that makes the car so NICE to drive. The GTi will most likely run head-to-head with the new MazdaSpeed Protege - turbo and all (stock though) In the handling dept. I can't comment because I have not driving the Mazda yet. I bet is a close match, any MazdaSpeed Protege owners in North Carolina? I'd love to challenge the MSP with my GTi...

i just got back from drivng a 2000 1.8t with apr chip blow valve and and boost at 18 psi, all i gotl to say is damnn it was sooo fastt. i drove the speed and the regular 1.8t and this thing blew them in the speed department, it also had coil overs and the handling was good, the braking was also out of this world

No no, I was talking about the P5's rpm. If you look, he put 0's after the numbers in the tac and it still says x1000, so the red line of it is 65,000.
