30 mins or less? Sheeit. You can make some good money doing installs for people if you're that good.

.
I think i could realistically do a rear mount in about an hour now.Now that i know exactly where everything is and what size everything is.I now know what needs to move and what doesnt. It really isn't that hard of a job if you have a lot of tools at your disposal.

Sure let me know when you're down here in NJ and I'll hook you up :)

these are just for the rear ones? are they needed that much? just like people say we should get the kartboy shifter bushing?

There are 4 engine mounts. They are needed only for those people who launch hard. Engine mounts basically reduce wheel hop. With harder engine mounts you will have vibration. Deppends on how hard is the poly-urethane. Kooldino's poly is perfect and doesnt have much of vibration. (personally experienced) Do you need one? it deppends on your driving habbits.

As far as kartboy shifter bushings....If you dont like the way your shifting feels, get kartboy bushings for stiffer feel.

Is there a chance youll make front mounts

Hehe, Im not the one whos making the mounts... Kooldino is the man who you want to talk to (thumb)

Hey man i was just checking on the inserts! I saw on another thread you have a side insert out also... If it is true how much would you sell the set for?

I may do a front, it all depends. The side is proving to be a PITA. I'll keep everyone updated on things. I won't release these things if they don't stand the test of time. I'll keep you guys posted.

As for who needs them, ALL 3rd gen proteges need them as far as I'm concerned.

hehehe. Dana, did Justin let you know about his side mount? Whats the status on his? I kept calling him to find out but he never picked up, the damn phone (chair)

ill be in for these too. its not even for the launching, it be nice to keep the engine steady too.

Can anyone comment if motor mounts would help with grinding the 1-2 shift at high rpms? Isn't all that play in the driveline part of the problem?

I think the side mount is coming along...not sure.

Dana! Ill come over tomorrow!

Just a little update here...

1-the side motor mount inserts work GREAT (ask jerseyEMT), but they pull themelves out of the metal mount after a day or two. I had a spare side mount modified and have yet to test it. This one just may stay in place. :)

2-Most of the testers have had issues with my rear insert eventually decomposing. I've stepped it up to a different poly and have one guy testing that right now, last i checked it was working well and engine noise wasn't much over stock. Keep your fingers crossed.
