Just ordered my H&R springs and im going with 18" wheels. Im looking for best tire size to help fill the gap but not to big of a tire. So if anyone has suggestions and pics please post um up...
235/60 or possibly 245/60 without getting too creative/aggressive. With the CX-5s limited power you need to be especially mindful of added overall diameter and probably more so weight as I found when trying to up my 19s (on the OE wheels) to 235/55 while adding few lbs per corner- it made for a shockingly depressing result, I felt like I actually broke it. Pirelli trial exchanging them for stock size P7s didn't fully put it right either. Going back to nearly new Toyos for a fraction of their price and bagging the P7s for trade in time was a great move despite the fact they definitely leave some of the 5ers limit handling potential bottled up- they're a nice balance of attributes well suited to daily driving if not serious track work
