Best replacement headlights

I am thinking of replacing my bulbs and want to get something better than stock...maybe something with a blue tint to it. I have searched but there are too many threads that talk about everything but what ones to get. I want BRIGHT, lkm what kind they are, where to get them, &/or how much they are plus if you have tried any, let us all know what you think of them

I don't believe that our headlights are engineered for HID's. You have to be very careful how they're aimed and how they reflect. They won't put out as much light as headlights meant for HIDs.

I have HID from one of the GB on here a while back and I LOVE my HID. I serously can't complain how bright it is and how I feel safer driving at night. I really think it's one of the best mod I've done and really worth the money. If I get another new car w/o HID, my first mod would be HID conversion.

In addition, I got the McCulloch HID but apparently alot of people on this forum are having problem with it in the past or now. So, I would recommend putting some good dough on good ones like Phillip.

Get the Silverstars. They are about $38 a pair at Walmart or Autozone, and are a good deal brighter than stock and work well with our reflectors. I have them on my Pro and our minivan and it helps alot, and have lasted over a year now. Avoid cheezy blue bulbs, as they are just for pretend and make it harder to see.

I'd recommend the Osram Silverstars. Since they lack the the tint added to the Sylvanias, they are brighter and have a somewhat higher light output. You can get them at:

I too am very pleased with the Sylvania SilverStars. I've had them on for over a month now. I am going to get a set of Osrams from the site mentioned earlier for next time though.

I have Phillips 600k HID kit from Xenondepot.com and they are great. If you adjust the beam right it lights the road very well without blinding anyone. I used to have pics but I reformated my computer. I can get some pics if you would like.

if you want the cheapies with a little blue tint go with Luks hyper white bulbs they wont fade me and a couple friends have them and we all like 'em ....not too blue just a little tint 35 bucks on koolites.com

yea guys i recommend these bulbs highly, I have these with the catz zeta h4 ballasts and they look very good. Very bright also.

im not sure about every state, but if its not oem its illegal, just get them aimed properly and you shouldnt have a problem. that and its not hard to switch them out
