The only thing that was changed is the muffler. You can take that RB muffler and bolt it up to any stock exhaust protege. Except maybe MSP? I actually sold my RB muffler on here when I installed my Magnaflow cat back.

I had a custom 3 inch installed. It was cheaper cause the guy normally worked on trucks and he was able to cut a great deal. I got the magnaflow high flow cat and in the video on my cardomain page (link posted) i had a JDM style can. It was to high pitched so i got the magnaflow muffler now with the oval tip and no more ricer sound it just purrs when you get on it. The OBX had problems breaking at the colector on me (no it was not the motor mounts either) I just ended up braceing the 4-1 colector in 4 spots by welding on to it and have not had a problem sense. Hope that helps. it is the best improvement for your buck.

I have a Jic Magic Ti cat-bat with a OBX 4-2-1 header w/ no cat
sounds alright but i wish it was deeper so I'm going to order a new mid-pipe w/ a high flow cat to get that deeper sound

I'm pretty sure OBX only makes a 4-1 header. Also, did you happen to weigh your titanium exhaust? Is it a full cat back, or just a Ti muffler?

right the OBX are 4-1 im thinking of my honda i sold a while back but for the jic magic exhaust was bought derectly for JIC magic it a true Ti muffler and Ti resonator and it weighed about 12 LB.

Hows the Magnaflow cat back treating you?
I am looking to get a deep tone like the WRX, and I like the sound of this cat-back in the clips below.

How does the magnaflow sound on the highway? drones? annoying?

Magnaflow is the best cat i have ever kept. The best is always none at all. Seriously at idle it just purrs but it is not load until 4500 rpm. There it is noticeable and from there up it gets a real deep but load sound. If you can get ahold of a "power cat" they cave a little higher flow rate but not worth the price to me. The only problem i had exhaust wise was the crappy canister muffler and the 4-1 split 3 times on me at the 4-1 collector but i figured out the perfect fix to that one.

How does the magnaflow sound on the highway? drones? annoying?

I had the exhaust on my 00 ES automatic and it droned a little on the highway, but I don't take my car on the interstate much so I can deal with it. I swapped it to my MP3 because I loved the sound and look so much. It didn't start to "drone" in my MP3 until I installed the solid REAR motor mount though. Not sure why, but it didn't have any intrusion into the cab when I installed the solid front motor mount, but now with the solid rear, it drones about 65 and higher.

I bought a polished stainless can and tip from Checker and had Meineke do the custom 2.25 in tubing from the cat back. Make sure you stay on the smaller side for your muffler and tip. I have a friend with a P5 that I talked into getting a magnaflow and it sounded great until he got the OBX header, then it got too ricey for my taste. He had a 4" exit on his muffler.
